Matthew McGrath, Partner

Matthew specialises in all aspects of clinical negligence and health service law, dealing predominantly with catastrophic injury claims and specialising in birth injury claims.

He is the firm's client partner to the NHSLA, holding responsibilty for service delivery and quality standards of our health litigation department.

Matthew is experienced in mediations and structuring damages awards. He regularly advises clients on issues of consent, confidentiality and access to records and is experienced in litigation arising in these areas, including emergency applications. He advises health bodies on risk management issues.

Matthew regularly lectures on risk management issues to clinicians. He became a partner at Beachcroft in 1997.
