Julian Gizzi has been a partner at the firm since 1986 and a member of its Board since 2006. He advises a wide range of public bodies and institutions, predominantly in the education, health and local government sectors. He also advises various professional bodies. Julian was the only practising lawyer to be appointed to the Structure and Governance Committee of the National Committee of Inquiry of Higher Education (the Dearing Committee). He was General Editor of the Education Law Manual (Butterworths) and co-wrote VAT for Solicitors (Butterworths) and Duties & Powers (HMSO). He is recommended in Chambers Directory of the Legal Profession as a "leader" in both education and public law matters.
