Jan specialises in commercial dispute resolution, with a particular emphasis on IT disputes, property claims, sports law and defamation. His experience of heavyweight cross border disputes includes claims in Japan, France, USA, Singapore, Spain, Zimbabwe, South Africa and India.

He has a diverse range of corporate litigation and fraud experience including claims relating to/involving:

• urgent pre-action injunctions /speedy trials
• disputes relating to unauthorised use of confidential information, particularly in the IT sphere
• product liability
• shareholder/partnership disputes
• defamation
• property and environmental litigation
• breach of warranty/completion account claims

He has substantial expertise in the chemical, property, engineering, IT and sports sectors.

Jan is also a trained mediator and is often asked for his comments on cases and has appeared on BBC Radio 5 Live, Sky TV and in the Sunday Express, the Lawyer and the Law Society Gazette.
