Alex Lock, Partner

Alex provides specialist employment advice and guidance on all aspects of employment law to public and private sector employers.

He has particular expertise in TUPE, especially its application to outsourcing of services such as catering, cleaning, waste and facilities management. He also has considerable experience of employment tribunal and employment appeal tribunal work on behalf of major companies, regularly appearing as an advocate.

Alex regularly drafts all types of employment contracts, policies and procedures. He also presents briefing sessions to clients on recent employment decisions, legislation and trends in employment law.

He regularly speaks at seminars and has contributed to articles on employment law in several journals. He became a partner in 2002.
