Our Managing Partner is Paul Murray. Simon Hodson is our Senior Partner.

I understand you offer specialist business advisory services — what are these?
We've set up advisory services in the areas of risk management, financial services regulation and litigation. Risk Counsel anticipates and manages the issues and threats that can damage your organisation; Beachcroft Consulting is a non-legal service that provides regulatory advice to financial services organisations and Mutual Law is our radical solution to high volume fast track, low value claims litigation.
What's your track record in the higher courts?
We are also among the firms most frequently taking cases to the Court of Appeal and have a significant track record for handling test and landmark cases. In every instance we're trying to cultivate a progressive approach, helping us find effective solutions to problems even when they have no precedent.
Tell me about your culture?
We try to avoid the stuffy reputation of many law firms and instead strive to be recognised for our accessible and open approach. We take a progressive approach to roles within the firm so that staff can play to their strengths. We have worked hard to avoid a long hours culture, simply for the sake of it, as we believe this is in your interest as well as our own.

A recent values programme enabled us to establish these. We aim to always exceed our clients expectations, underpinning this with three clear values: progressive, agile and easy to engage with.
How is the firm managed?
In addition to leadership and guidance from our Executive Committee, led by our Managing Partner, Paul Murray, we've created a partnership board to ensure more democratic management of the firm and a greater responsiveness to client needs.
What are career prospects at Beachcroft like?
Our two-year graduate training programme exceeds Law Society expectations, with trainees working alongside nationally recognised lawyers on high quality casework early in their careers. We also work closely with Nottingham Law School, offering Diplomas for Lawyers to develop trainees after their training contracts.
